The first 5nm A78 flagship Exynos 1080 is coming soon: the Samsung Galaxy A72 is up for use.

ARM this year unveiled the new Cortex A78, which will be used in addition to the Qualcomm SnapDragon 875 and Samsung Exynos 2100. Samsung this week announced the release of its new flagship processor, the Exynos 1080, the industry’s first A78 chip based on a 5nm process.

In addition to vivo, Samsung’s own Galaxy A72 phone will also be equipped with the processor, sources said today.

The Exynos 1080, a high-end flagship mobile phone chip, has significantly improved performance with the Cortex A78 core and the GPU Mali-G78. According to ARM, the A78 CPU has improved performance by about 20% and the G78 by 25%.

What’s more, the Exynos 1080’s Ann Rabbit ran for more than 650,000 points, surpassing even the SnapSnapdragon 865 flagship processor, the first tier of proper performance.

It is reported that Samsung will be Q4 this year to officially release Exynos 1080, vivo new machine will also be released in Q4.

Given that vivo will be the debut brand of the Exynos 1080, the Samsung Galaxy A72 may be released a little later.
