According tomedia Deadline reported recently, the new version of “Egypt After” after a round of copyright disputes (Universal, Warner, Netflix, Apple and other companies are involved in the competition), by Paramount Pictures won the filming rights. The film will be directed by Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, with Gail Geddew as producer and Letta Karoglidis as the script.
Gail Geddo will also play Cleopatra VII, the last monarch of egypt’s Ptolemy dynasty. Two previous Oscar-winning actresses, Claude Cal white and Elizabeth Taylor, have played the role.
The new version of “After Egypt” has been around for years, from Angelina Jolie at the beginning to Lady Gaga later, and even sparked a global debate about who’s fit to act. Now the dust has finally settled! Let’s look forward to a different interpretation of Gail Geddo.
