Microsoft recently announced that it will add new features to the Microsoft Edge during the holiday season. Price comparisons, Bing Rebate and Pinterest integration into Colleges are some of them. The company also said it would launch Skype’s Met Now to Edge this month and to Windows 10 and Online Outlook in the coming weeks.
A few months ago, Microsoft developed a Canary and Dev version that includes the Meet Now test button and recommendations for built-in search results. After testing, Meet Now is ready to provide users with NTP running Edge Stable.
To start a Skype video call with Meet Now, it’s as simple as clicking the button Meet Now on the new tab interface and generating a meeting link to share with up to 50 participants to join the call.
Meeting links never expire, and the feature does not need to be registered or downloaded, and this feature has appeared for some users in the Stable version.
Compared to previous tests, edge NTP provides a “new label tip” setting that allows you to switch on or off modes under Advanced to control new feature recommendations and notifications.
We’re not sure if turning off this feature will disable Meet Now on NTP, because the latest version hasn’t been available to us yet.
