In June, MediaTek revealed some of the chip’s features, but the official launch of the Dimensity 1000 was a surprise. This surprise comes from the technical parameters, the Dimensity 1000 in terms of communication performance (5G, Wi-Fi, navigation), or CPU, GPU, AI, game performance have a leading edge.
In the first year of 5G commercial, the most concerned natural is 5G performance.
The world’s fastest 5G processor
While the 5G era has been able to offer 5G modems to a handful of companies, the intensity of the competition does not fall back up, competing for 5G processors. The strongest 5G performance is achieved thanks to MediaTek’s first support for 5G dual carrier aggregation. Support for dual carrier aggregation means that two bands can be connected at a time, two 100 megabits of data can be downloaded at the same time, and aggregation can be twice as large as the carrier 5G modem, and 5G signal coverage can be increased by 30%.
But higher rates are bound to lead to higher power consumption. However, MediaTek Wireless Communications Division Associate Li Yanzhu, The Dimensity 1000 compared with similar flagship B and flagship A on the market, light load power consumption can be reduced by 42% and 19%, respectively, heavy-duty power consumption can be reduced by 49% and 21%, respectively.

APU 3.0 refreshEs AI-Benchmark running score back to first
In addition to 5G, AI technology is now the most popular. In December, MediaTek’s 12nm Helio P90 won the First place in the AI-Benchmark run at ETH Zurich, thanks to APU 2.0. 4-core Cortex A77 CPU-6-core Mali G77 GPU
The Dimensity 1000 features four high-performance Arm Cortex-A77 CPUs with a main frequency of 2.6GHz and four high-performance Cortex-A55 CPUs. The GPU uses the 9-core Mali G77.
