The Pixelmator development team, a well-known image editing app, launched pixelmator Photo, a desktop-level image editing app for iPad, in April for $25. And with the Black Five coming, the app also opens on November 27th (today) for a limited 24-hour free sale (until 10pm on November 27th), so interested iPad users don’t miss out.
Unlike the Pixelmator series, the Pixelmator Photo is a name that focuses on photos. The app first appeared at the launch of Apple’s new iPad Pro, taking advantage of the power of Apple’s high-end tablet to provide all the tools you need to make desktop-level changes to photos directly on Apple tablets.
It’s understood that the iOS version will take full advantage of the power of the iPad to aid image adjustments and cropping with Core ML machine learning technology, such as automaticfine-tuning photos such as brightness, white balance, optional colors, and color balance.
Unlike the Mac version, Pixelmator Photo will focus on photo decoration, which has photo adjustment features such as brightness, tone and saturation, shadows, color selection, color scales, curves, and more. Pixelmator Photo also adds a “Repair and Crop” tool to help users get more perfect photos, such as erasing flawless or even larger objects from photos, and supporting more than 500 camera RAW formats.
Like other photo editing applications, Pixelmator Photo includes a wide range of different photographic style presets designed for a variety of topics, such as black and white presets, movie presets, modern movie presets, and more.
