Since the Launch of the Pixel 3, the phones have built their own dedicated Google Sound app, which includes ringtones, notifications and warnings, and more. Today for all Pixel phones, Google has launched the official version of Google Sound 2.2 and introduced more than 100 new sounds, including Halloween, Christmas and other holiday-themed music.
While some people like to pick up their favorite ringtones from MP3s or other audio files, the official ringtones provided by OEMs are often noteworthy and sometimes even become part of popular culture (such as iPhones and Nokia’s classic ringtones).
With the Google Sound app, Pixel phone users can filter their favorite music in a variety of categories of audio, giving them a unique audio style. For example, one of the default ringtones for pixel phones, “The Big Adventure” that was originally classified into the Retro Riffs category, was reclassified to Nokia-style “The Small Adventure” in a new app.
In the Google Sound 2.2 update, more than 100 new sounds are available for ringtones, warnings, and notifications. In terms of ringtones and notification sounds, Google has created two new categories, Play It Loud and AErOn Celebrations, with a total of 26 new ringtones and 24 new notification sounds.
In the midst of the warning, Google Sound 2.2 added six categories including Classical Harmonies, Minimal Melodies, Reality Bytes, Riffs, Play It Loud, and Seaso Nal Celebrations, there are 68 new ways to serve as your wake-up alarm clock.
Google Sounds 2.2 is now available in the Google Play Store, and all Pixel phones can be installed and upgraded.
