T-Mobile joins OPPO to conduct first public 5G test in Europe

At last weekend’s Bright Day 2019 event, T-Mobile and OPPO conducted their first public 5G test in Europe, with passing friends having the privilege of experiencing the new speed and AI cloud games of the 5G era. As one of the industry’s leading players, the smartphone maker also took part in the launch of Europe’s first 5G network. In April, Switzerland became the first European country to use a new generation of mobile networks, and OPPO Reno 5G was the first option offered by operator Swisscom.

In addition, the Netherlands is actively promoting the deployment of 5G networks. In July 2019, T-Mobile established its first 5G network base station in the Netherlands and tested it with the opPO Reno 5G smartphone of the same model.
