Media reported that The Medium, a psychological horror game developed by the Bloober Team, had postponed its launch date from December 10, 2020 to January 28, 2021. Many players speculated that the Polish gaming studio might have avoided the same ticket-hopping Sebopunk 2077 (postponed until December 10) as an exclusive work on the Xbox Series X platform.
Bloober Team explained that the studio had to make the difficult decision because of the COVID-19 epidemic and the schedule changes for other games on the market.
Even so, Bloober Team is committed to delivering the most ambitious and immersive horror gaming experience for players.
It’s important to note that with Halo: Infinity also delayed until 2021, The Medium, scheduled for January, is expected to take the fore in the Xbox Series X/S exclusive gaming market and showcase some unique uses of the new architecture for next-generation consoles.

As the main character in the game, Marianne is free to move around in the real and spiritual worlds. Players will then navigate between the two worlds, solve problems, and fight against hostile forces.
Whether The Medium will include an Xbox Game Pass subscription plan for the console/PC platform depends on whether Microsoft will be able to roll out the service in time.
