Mopar pushes the Hellcrate Redeye Crate engine: up to 807 horsepower

Mopar is now selling a Hellcrate Redeye Supercharged HEMI Crate engine with an output of up to 807 horsepower,media reported. The engines were designed specifically for street and off-road vehicles prior to 1976. The Hellcrate Redeye engine produces a maximum output of 807 horsepower and 717 lb-ft of torque.

It is reported that the car uses a 2.7L booster to generate all the horsepower and torque.

For the first time, the engine appears under the bonnet of the extremely limited edition 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, billed as the fastest and most powerful muscle car in the world. The same engine was later used on SRT Hellcat Redeye, Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye and Challenger SRT Super Stock.
