According tomedia reports, a video purportedly showing the use of the MagSafe Duo charger may be the first actual video of the accessory before it was officially released. In the store, the charger, which can charge the iPhone 12 and Apple Watch, is labeled “coming soon” and no official release date has been given.

MagSafe Duo charger charging video exposure: or in a few weeks

A video posted on YouTube on Friday called Apple Magsafe Duo Charger Hand on shows an anonymous person opening and using the accessory. This video account is called Daily Use OS.

The video shows how the charger opens and how to push the Apple Watch charging element up from the back of the panel in bedside mode. This charging element can also be leveled to charge the Watch.

Although the video doesn’t provide much new information, it at least shows that the MagSafe Duo charger is relatively lightweight to carry.

MagSafe Duo is understood to be charging $129, but the release date is still unclear. Given Apple’s online store launch and South Korean regulators’ approval of the accessory in early November, it could be available in a few weeks.
