Sony will release a new A9 series micro-single camera in the first quarter of 2021 that supports 8K video recording or will be available at ceS in January 2021,media reported. The new camera, or A9M3, A9S or A9R, will feature a 50-megapixel full-frame CMOS image sensor and can capture 8K/30p video.
Sony’s current full-frame micro-single camera for its main video capture performance is the A7S3, but only 12 megapixels, and the new A9 series microscope is enough to rival the Canon EOS R5. The advantage is that there is no overheating problem when recording video, which is more advantageous than EOS R5.
Other specifications, the new flagship micro-single support body 5-axis stabilization, dual card slot design, the same menu design of the A7S3, support menu touch adjustment, and will have the A7S3 with the same specifications of 9.44 megapixel electronic viewfinder and autofocus function.
According to the news, the new Sony A9 series 8K video micro-single camera sold for $4,999, or about 33,000 yuan.
