Buying 800,000 Euro printers but not being able to install: the Irish government was forced to spend an extra 230,000 Euros to renovate the building.

I believe everyone has had printer problems, but it is estimated that the Irish government is facing the most of the printer problems in history. According to state media reports, a small sen printer worth 808,000 euros was delivered to The Irish legislature, Oireachtas, in December 2018, but it was unable to install the building because of structural problems.

Buying 800,000 Euro printers but not being able to install the Irish government was forced to spend an extra 230,000 Euros to renovate the building.

As a result, the device lay in the warehouse for 10 months. During this period, the Government spent 230,000 euros on structural renovations to the building, in addition to the cost of keeping the building unusable.

Now that the device has been installed, some Oireachtas staff refuse to accept training in the use of the equipment unless they receive a raise. It is not clear what the printer will be for.

Neither the Oireachtas press office nor the Agents of Komori Ireland immediately responded to requests for comment.
