In September, the Google Home app removed the option to trigger Assistants. But in today’s update to Google Home 2.31, Google reintroduced this option. In addition, in this update, Google has re-adjusted its multimedia controls to include other interesting and useful improvements.
In today’s Google Home update, click the purple shortcut at the top of the Home app to go to the new full-screen Routines page. This option, called “Personal Routines,” allows users to view and customize it.
In today’s updated version 2.31, a play button is added to the right of each listed Routine entry. There is also an option for Start Your Routines On at the bottom of the list. The user can also select the default speaker for The Processs, which contains speakers to perform actions.
Although not yet complete, Google Home will also provide comprehensive visual optimization of multimedia controls in the app. First cancel the tall card design so you can access the list you’re playing. The scrubber, play/pause, fast forward/back, and volume buttons come first. As for the Playing On list, it provides an easier and more effective user experience.
In addition, Wi-Fi settings in Google Home 2.31 now bring a new “Preferred Activity” menu that includes games and Stadia.
