Chrome, which works on Apple’s Silicon Mac devices, is open for download, according tomedia 9to5Google. In addition, developers have indicated that Firefox 84 Beta for M1 Macs is currently under development. Mozilla later confirmed to CNET that the version was currently under development.
Mozilla Spokesperson Table: “This week we will provide firefox users with M1 Mac with the first Firefox 84 Beta Native Support Update. Native support will soon be introduced into the official version. However, before release, we need to make some adjustments and optimizations, and these adjustments will be rigorously tested.”
Google has released a Chrome browser for Apple Silicon Mac devices on its Chrome download page. If you use an M1 Mac device to access the google.com/chrome page, clicking the blue Download button will jump out of the Mac with Intel chip and Mac with Apple chip options. Under the previous option, “most common” is marked (most common).
