Valve will take the classic Half Life 2 character into space with Rocket Lab

Rocket Lab’s Electrotron rocket will launch from New Zealand’s picturesque Peninsula on Thursday local time, Māhiamedia reported. The bold space start-up plans to use helicopters to recover rocket boosters in the air, a mission that will be an important step in the company’s ambitious plans. It will also be a big moment for Garden Gnome Chompski and Gabe Newell, founder of video game giant Valve.

It is reported that a titanium-built 5-inch highland fine Chomsky will be tied to a circular platform of the Electron rocket – the Kick class, and then thrown into orbit during the mission, and eventually landed on Earth.

Half a Life fans must be familiar with Chomsky. In Half Life 2: Chapter 2, you can get Little Rocket Man’s achievements by taking the dwarf from his hiding place in the communications building to a rocket. This fits the reality of the task very well.

It is reported that Chomsky’s flight is not all scientific and video game behavior, it will also contribute to charity. Newell promised to donate $1 to The Starship Foundation’s pediatric intensive care unit in New Zealand for every additional visitor to the ship.
