The Samsung “Infinity One Design” trademark has been approved or used for the new QLED smart TV

With less than a month and a half to go until ceS opens in 2021, Samsung is expected to present its successor to Infinity Screen TV at the launch. Samsung has acquired a new trademark called “Infinity One Design” that could be used on 8K QLED smart TVs, Dutch technology media Lets GoDigital reported.

The trademark, which was approved by the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) on 18 November 2020, is classified as Class 9 and described as “TELEVISION; It can be confirmed from a simple description that the trademark will be applied to smart TVs.

Previously, Samsung used the word Infinity to describe the screens of Galaxy Series phones. In television, the new label is likely to be the successor to the existing “Infinity Screen”. And at next year’s CES show we may see a new TV screen using the trademark.

In addition, on the day the trademark was approved, the EUIPO approved another trademark called Dynamic Window, literally translated as a dynamic window. Applications for both trademarks were filed by Abril Abogados, an intermediary company in Madrid, Spain.
