Starting with Chrome 78, Google removed several options in the tab right-click menu, including Open New Tabs, Close Other Tabs, Reopen Closed Tabs, and Bookmark all Tabs. If you can’t get used to it for a while, you can now restore the “Close Other Tabs” feature by installing extensions.
Now that users can access the Chrome Web Store, install the “Keyboard Shortcuts to Close Other/Right Tabs” extension, and use the “Alt-Shift-O” shortcut to view other tabs. It should be noted, however, that this extension is very old (the last update was in 2013), but it still works.
This extension also provides keyboard shortcuts for the “Close Other Tabs to the Right” (alt-Shift-R) and Fixed Tabs (Alt-Shift-P) options. After you install the extension, all other tabs (except the fixed and active tabs) will be closed if you use the Alt-Shift-O shortcut.
