OPPO will push the dual-mode 5G new Reno3 Pro: with a punch-hole screen and pre-installed ColorOS 7 system

Earlier this month, OPPO announced the upcoming release of its first Qualcomm dual-mode 5G smartphone. But new news suggests that, in addition to supporting SA and NSA, the Reno3 Pro is expected to be the company’s first model with a punching screen. Earlier this week, a spy photo of the new machine was posted on the Internet. The icon does not appear in the upper left corner of the screen because the OPPO sets the front inopenings here. Shen later posted a photo of the plane and announced his official name on the social network.

Media speculated that the Reno 3 might also have a regular model without the Pro. Given that the company has previously introduced a 5G-enabled Reno 10x zoom model, the Reno3 may also have an “entry-level” option that only supports 4G networks.

The good news is that, despite the limited availability of the Reno 5G version, OPPO has confirmed that the new 5G model is expected to be officially available in the Netherlands by 2020, as OPPO and T-Mobile have reached out in depth on the 5G Beta test project.

Over the weekend, T-Mobile organized the first 5G public test and provided 5G devices from OPPO during the demo. As for the Reno3 Pro’s over-specs, Shen yiren also disclosed on Twitter.

It is said to be equipped with a glass case of only 7.7mm thick, claiming to be the thinnest dual-mode 5G smart machine in the same price segment. Equally alarming, it has an arc-screen design similar to the Find X.

In the past month, there have been many revelations about the Reno3, such as the 6.5-inch FHD-AMOLED,90Hz high refresh rate display, the VOOC 4.0 flash-filled 4500mAh battery (guaranteed 30W charging power), and even wireless charging.

The Reno3 is expected to feature the Qualcomm snapDragon 735 SoC, supplemented by 8GB of RAM plus 256GB ROM. The front camera is 32MP and the rear quad (new sensor with 60 megapixel main and 5x optical zoom).
