It seems that since the advent of mobile phones, the discussion about radiation has not stopped, with 3G, 4G, 5G-loaded frequency band higher and higher, more and more dense base stations, some people’s concerns are gradually increasing. Telstra, Australia’s largest operator, said in a submission to the House Of Representatives Standing Committee on Communications that 5G-based 5G networks were faster, faster and faster in transmission, media reported.
Their findings suggest that radiation levels and 3G, 4G and even Wi-Fi are almost identical to remote controls and walkie-talkies.
Optus, the second-largest operator, also points out in its submission that electromagnetic radiation release levels on mobile networks are lower than those of common appliances such as microwave ovens and baby monitors. Optus’s view is that radiation threat theory is a source of alarmism from unreliable channels, and that governments and interested parties should redouble their efforts to combat these false hoods and embrace new technologies that make our lives better as soon as possible.
The two operators, while explaining 5G security, suggested that the government should stop “cutting meat” on spectrum pricing, hindering the pace and scale of construction deployment.
It is worth noting that an earlier safety report submitted to members by the Australian Radiation Protection and Safety Authority (ARPANSA) also pointed out that 5G cyber security, non-ionizing radiation does not destroy the chemical bonds of human DNA, and does not exceed the established exposure levels.
