Chevrolet’s first electric car, THE MENLO, will launch on November 8

Recently, we learned from the official, Chevrolet’s first pure electric car MENLO will be held on November 8 in the Chevrolet Night premiere, the car has not yet been unveiled, but before we obtained the vehicle’s declaration map and related declaration information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The new car is designed to be different from Chevrolet’s existing model, with a large number of line outlines and looks aggressive, while the power is powered by an electric motor with a maximum power of 110kW (150PS).


The front face of the new car is decorated with a lot of lines, using a closed grille and is not absent, and the headlights on both sides are connected by a bright black trim, creating a peri-view, with the charging port suspected to be located at the central LOGO. The fog light area under the new car is styled up, with a lower air intake, and the black coating looks aggressive. From the side, the new car adopts a segmented waist line design, with a higher wheel brow, rich in sport.


The rear part of the car features a Chevrolet family design, with overlapping taillights wrapped in a large, bright black trim panel, while the rest looks simpler with a large white design. The silver-enclosed trim panel slabs around the bottom add layers. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new cars are 4665/1818/1538 (1513) mm and the wheelbase is 2660mm.


In terms of configuration, the new car will vary from the version to the sunroof, luggage rack, exterior mirrors, door handles, cameras, glass black edges, etc.

In terms of power, the car is equipped with an electric motor provided by Huayuan Automotive Electric Systems Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 110kW (150PS), while a three-way lithium battery is supplied by SAIC-era Power Battery Systems Co., Ltd.
