Xiaomi was supposed to launch Mi MIX 3’s successor, Mi MIX 4, but the company announced the launch of a forward-looking smartphone, Mi MIX Alpha 4. The giant later said it would not release Mi MIX 4. However, the company did not say whether it had completely shelved the Mi MIX lineup to pave the way for Mi MIX Alpha. Now, the latest leak suggests the company is not shelving MIX 4, and smartphones could go on sale next year.
As we previously reported, the Mi MIX 4 will feature a Qualcomm Dragon Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, 12GB of memory, support up to 1TB of UFS 3.0 storage, a built-in 4500mAh battery, and a 40W fast charge. According to the latest news, the smartphone will feature a QuadHD curved display that will offer three screen refresh rates, including 60 Hz, 90 Hz and 120 Hz. Rumor has it that the back of the smartphone has a four-camera setting of 108MP plus 20MP plus 12MP plus 5MP. For selfies, mi MIX 4 will be equipped with a front-facing camera under two displays, 12MP plus 2MP.
Sources say Xiaomi will announce the final release date of Mi MIX 4 at the end of this month.
