In 2017, Microsoft introduced a version of Windows 10 for ARM device users, and subsequently partnered with Qualcomm to further optimize the experience of porting x86 apps to ARM64 devices. At the same time, developers have been working to port Windows 10 to smartphones, including models such as the Lumia 950, 950 XL, and Acer Jade Primo that are not officially supported.

Earlier this year, we saw That Windows 10 is already running on OnePlus 6T and even Google Pixel 3 XL. Now, a developer named Lemon1Ice has confirmed that Windows 10 ARM can be installed on plus 6 and Xiaomi Mix 2S.
With Mix 2S’s Synaptics-based touch scheme, it’s much easier. As for the one plus 6 of the Dragon 845 platform, it uses a driver for the Lenovo Yoga C630 laptop.
The battle to port Windows 10 ARM to one plus 6 continues, as only touch screens and UPSs are available, and other components have to find a way to fix it.
As for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and other Dragon 835 phones, another developer, Evsio0n, has revealed that it is expected to be done in the near future. As shown in the image above, it has not yet started the desktop.
In a conversation with Windows Last, the developer shared the following details: “Using the modified Linux kernel and with the DTB, you can call Linuxloader in the ABL partition to launch the EIF.”
In addition to launching Windows 10 in emergency download mode, developers are faced with the embarrassment of reporting errors due to advanced configuration and power interface (ACPI) issues.
Finally, we are confident that in a few months there will be effective progress in this area.
