Set in the same universe as the 1997 film of the same name, “Star River Fleet: Human Command” sends players to a human colony, where the flooded alien worm adgelist Arachnids attacks in large groups. As a mobile infantry, players must take full advantage of obstacles and high elevations to fight off alien bugs.
Iain McNeil, director of development at publisher Slitherine, said: “If you shape one of the most iconic films of the 1990s into a survival strategy game that incorporates classic instant mechanisms, tower defenses and tactical unit deployments, you have the Galaxy Fleet: Human Command game. The modern strategy game is fast-paced, and they succeed in combining unit management, survival and engaging stories. There is nothing better than The Galactic Fleet: The Human Command, which will have a constant sense of crisis and uncertainty. ”
Players must fight in bug territory and lead an elite army of soldiers to defeat alien threats. Players can deploy their units to strategic locations to cover important throat positions, build defensive positions (gun positions), and tactically use the Highlands to achieve superior firepower.
Iain McNeil added: “Our goal is to recreate the essence of the original film and its universe. This is not only through a coherent set of units and scenes, but also through imitation of all the elements that make the film a cult symbol, including language, visual elements, dialogue and other small details. ”
