Escobar has just announced a folding-screen smartphone with the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X boards, known as Escobar Fold 1. While the mainstream folding-screen smartphones sell for $1,500, Escobar Fold 1 starts at $349 and includes a free shipping and protective case. The company’s cut back on online and retail middlemen has been able to push prices cheaper than non-folding-screen flagship smartphones.
