After releasing the ISO image yesterday, today the team released the update log for Linux Mint 19.3 “Tricia”. There are currently three desktop versions of Cinnamon, MATE and Xfce for consumer download, and users can download it according to their preferences. Linux Mint 19.3 Canonical-based Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver) long-term support version will continue until 2023.
As expected, Linux Mint 19.3 features the latest features of Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS, as well as exciting new features, new apps, icons, and wallpapers. “The new version is really exciting,” Clement Lefebvre said in a monthly announcement. 19.x branch has been on line for more than 2 years, the user experience is very sophisticated. The new features introduced by 19.3 have not been publicly discussed in blogs. And the Art Deco is brand new, which gives 19.3 a fresh feel. “
Lefebvre does not currently publish a full update log for Linux Mint 19.3, but users can download the 32-bit or 64-bit Linux Mint 19.3 Beta image, in addition to the Flavor versions of the Cinnamon, MATE and Xfce desktop environmentavailable.
However, keep in mind that this is still a pre-release version, so don’t use it for any production work, but only to test and report on issues you might encounter. The final version of the Linux Mint 19.3 “Tricia” operating system is expected to go live by Christmas.
