Despite the high level of security of commercial jetliners, there are some unexpected situations. Not long ago, for example, residents of Milton, Massachusetts, were surprised by the “surprise” from a Boeing jet. The Associated Press quoted Delta Air Lines pilots as saying the flight was scheduled to fly from Paris to Logan Airport, but heard “a lot of noise” on the way. It was later confirmed that it was an inflatable evacuation slide that had come off the plane and fell into the backyard of a resident, just a few feet away from the man.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed the bizarre incident, which is now under investigation by the agency and the airline.
After all, slides are unlikely to be seen unless they are deployed manually. In rare emergencies, the slide expands and releases it, allowing passengers to flee the plane quickly.
The owner, Wenhan Huang, told reporters: ‘The escape slide damaged a tree in his yard, it sounded crazy, who knew something suddenly came out of the air.
Fortunately, it didn’t cause any personal injury, otherwise it would have been enough for Boeing and Delta Air Lines to drink a pot. Finally, investigators are looking for reasons for accidents to prevent similar events from happening in the future.
