In Opera 55, the development team added a new feature to Dark mode that darkens web content outside of the browser UI. There are still many websites that don’t support the built-in Dark mode, and this new feature is useful in dark environments. In the new version of the settings options, you can choose the range of content that enables Dark mode after dark mode is enabled, and whether to darken the content of the page. There are even options to darken the keyboard.

In addition, the Opera 55 offers a new color temperature setting, so you can adjust the brightness and amount of blue light. Finally, the start time of Dark mode, which the user can set to automatically start Dark mode based on the time.

In addition to the Opera 55 update, more language support has been introduced in the News section, where news content can be displayed on the right.
