iOS version of The Ubico Authenticator app update sits now supports NFC

Yubico, a security key app popular with many consumers and businesses, recently updated the iOS version of Authenticator software to add support for NFC. When used, users simply touch the security key on the back of their iPhone without inserting it into the phone, and the new features further enhance security and convenience.

It is reported that the YubicoAuthenticator app can be used with YubiKey devices to protect accounts that are not directly supported by security keys, as long as the app supports two-factor authentication.

Previously, the Yubico Authenticator application has been widely used on desktop and Android devices. Now, the iOS app is finally supporting the NFC feature on your iPhone, about four times faster than the authentication process.
