With the exception of Google Search and Google Assistant, Android apps that are available from Google are not updated regularly, even when it comes to core features. After years of waiting and demanding, Google has finally updated its Calendar app on Android to give users a whole new experience.
Prior to this update, users could not change assigned calendar items through the Google Calendar app on the Android side, only through a desktop device or a mobile browser accessed in desktop mode. In last year’s Calendar update, Google added a new feature that allows you to copy one calendar item to another.
After a long wait, Google finally added the ability to change calendar items directly in today’s update. As reported bymedia Android Police, users can choose to edit calendar items directly from the drop-down menu without the need for other temporary solutions.
It should be noted, however, that this update appears to be a server-side adjustment, so users will have to wait a few days to use the feature.
