Tesla CEO Elon Musk has once again used Twitter’s social media platform to post information about the company’s new product, media reported. This time, he was talking about the electric ATV (Cyberquad) and a quick look at the electric off-road vehicle. The Tesla boss said on Saturday that the company plans to create an ATV for two people and that it will be the first configuration option for Cybertruck buyers.
In addition, Musk said, the electric ATV is designed to work with Cybertruck. In fact, ATV came on the catwalk when the electric pickup debuted, when the driver connected it to Cybertruck to recharge it.
It is not clear where the electric ATV was designed. Reports suggest that the car bears a striking resemblance to yamaha Raptor ATV, suggesting that the car may have been modified and replaced with an electric drivetrain. Yamaha did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Still, Musk said the company plans to put the electric ATV on the market at about the same time as Cybertruck, which is understood to be available by the end of 2021.
By the way, Musk has another idea — the Wild Rover. The CEO posted on social media that electric off-road vehicles “would be cool, too.” But it seems like it’s just a scenario, as Musk himself puts it, when he was 17 when a truck hit his motorcycle and he nearly died, “it’s too dangerous.”
Musk has disclosed that Cybertruck has received at least 250,000 orders, a number that could continue to grow if Cyberquad makes the deal more attractive.
