Sweden’s Greta Thunberg set off from the United States for the United Nations climate conference and landed in Lisbon, Portugal, on Wednesday after weeks of crossing the Atlantic Ocean. Spanish media: Local association sponsors a donkey to Greta

The 2019 United Nations Climate Change Conference, in December, was turned over by Spain because of riots in Chile, where the original conference was held.

“The wrong place” Greta finally with the help of an Australian couple, a 15-meter low-carbon boat across the Atlantic, arrived in Lisbon on the 3rd local time.

Spanish media “Galicia Voice” La Voz de Galicia 4, after learning that environmental girl Greta landed in Lisbon, Portugal, a community association in the City of Toledo ,France (Fray Hernando de Talavera) offered to sponsor a donkey. As a means of transport from Lisbon to Madrid for the United Nations Climate Change Conference.

The association posted an open letter on Facebook on The 4th, in which the association’s president said that thanks to Greta, all members of the association were “aware of the importance of environmental protection” and decided to join Greta in fighting for the cause.

Therefore, the association decided to sponsor a locally farmed donkey because it was an “eco-transport erdion of the most environmentally respected” inherited by its ancestors.

They also promised in the letter that the association would bear all the costs of the trip. In return, they hope Greta will help promote the celebration of the Virgin in 2020.

Apparently, this “greenest” mode of transport was ultimately not adopted by Greta.

But netizens have praised the association’s creativity: “What a smart and accurate proposal!” (Applause)”
