Google updated its Google shopping experience in early October. Now, the tech giant has launched the Google Shopping 100, a microsite that features the most searched items in the U.S. to help users “find inspiration to determine the ultimate gift.” Google believes that highlighting popular items will provide users with the latest ideas and keep them up-to-date.
Trend products fall into eight categories: technology products, kitchen utensils, toys and games, accessories and clothing, games, sports and fitness, household goods and personal care. Chinmoy Panigrahi, Google’s shopping product manager, says:
Across age and interest, we highlight some of the most popular categories of holiday gifts, such as technology products, kitchen utensils, toys and games. We see a lot of warm, furry boots in accessories and clothing, and high-tech vacuum cleaners make up a large part of household goods.
Each category lists “Most Popular Products” and clicks one of the lists to redirect users to the Google Shopping site, which shows the prices for specific products from multiple online stores. The user can then find the best deal by comparing the available prices. Here’s a list of the most popular high-tech products of 2019:
2.Xiaomi Mi Note
3.Nvidia Shield TV
4.Motorola Moto One Action
5. RAZER Hammerhead Earbuds
6.Samsung 6 Series TV
