On Friday, residents living nearby called 911 after hearing a noise from a vacant house in Tucson, Arizona. When police arrived at the scene, they found a man in his 30s helplessly trapped in the chimney for several hours.
According to local news agency KGUN, the man was not the owner but tried to enter the uninhabited house. Apparently he was trying to enter the room from the top of the chimney without anyone knowing. Even more bizarre, the police used a “life ring” to free the man, but also found drugs on him.
The report did not mention the type of drugs the man was carrying, but noted that the man was at large. Although he was not injured after the police rescued him from the chimney, he was taken into police custody. As of today, police have not released the charges the man may face.
