Tesla has recently given them the address of The 4super-factory 4 in Europe, according tomedia. Now that we finally know the size of the plant, Tesla plans to eventually produce 750,000 vehicles at its Super4 plant.
German Agriculture Minister Axel Vogel made the announcement in a statement to the local parliament. According to its disclosure, the Berlin-based Super 4 plant will produce 250,000 vehicles a year in phase 3, but will increase to 750,000 units by phase 3. So far, Tesla has produced only about 360,000 vehicles a year worldwide.
Vogel revealed that the plant has enough water to supply 250,000 cars, but the solution will need to be further developed to meet the final mass production capacity of the tesla’s Super 4 super plant.
The property has not yet been transferred to Tesla, but the 300-hectare area is expected to be cleared by March 2020.
Tesla has successfully built its Super 3 Plant 3 in China in less than a year and will begin selling electric cars from the plant by the end of the year.
Musk appears to be developing a modular strategy for his superplant, saying 100 superfactors are needed to achieve sustainable transportation around the world.
Musk had earlier said it was speeding up construction of the European superplant and would put it operational by the end of 2021.
