The film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has appeared on more and more occasions, such as the latest video game, media reported. On the afternoon of December 14, local time, the film’s director, J.J. Abrams shows new footage from the film in the Risky Reels area of The Night in the Virtual Island.
It’s a unique campaign for the film, and it ends naturally with a lightsaber duel.
At the start of the event, Abrams boarded the Thousand Sons and engaged in a fierce battle with several TIE fighters and several Star-Sons. There’s even a game incarnation that looks very much like a director. A huge floating display appeared after a brief opening remarkby by host Geoff Keighley. A new clip from Skywalker Rises begins to air.
Players can eventually vote for their favorite lightsaber color. It’s not just for fun — there’s a lightsaber in the game now. Now, the game has added a series of Star Wars-themed challenges.
In fact, Abrams’s appearance isn’t the first time “Night of the Fortress” has been a celebrity. In February, Marshmello hosted a concert inside Fortnite, which was attended by more than 10 million people and millions of people watched it through websites such as Twitch and YouTube. In response, Epic said it was the biggest event the game had ever held.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be released in North American cinemas on December 20.
