Earlier today, an unnamed Motorola smartphone, the XT2041-1, appeared in the FCC database, media reported. The smartphone was then certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance in October. According to FCC documents, the phone has a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh and a size of 157.9 x 75.8 mm.
Given the size of the front panel is 165mm, this could mean the phone will have a 6.2 or 6.3-inch display. Finally, the phone runs Android 10.
Rumor has it that the phone could be the Motorola Moto G8 Power. The Moto G8 Power, codenamed “sofia,” is powered by a SnapDragon 665 processor like the Moto G8 Plus, according to Mishaal Rahman, xDA’s developer editor-in-chief, on Twitter.
If true, the Moto G8 Power will be a follow-up to the Moto G7 Power this year. For reference, the Moto G7 Power features a 6.2-inch HD Plus display, SnapDragon 632 processor, 3GRAM, 32 or 64GB of expandable storage.
