Some Google Maps users have been given a new version of the user interface in advance, according to user feedback from the Reddit community and social platforms such as Twitter. In the main application interface, the number of bottom buttons in the new version has been increased from three to five. “Explore” has been renamed Map, and the “Commute” name and feature sits on hold. Google added two new options, Saved and Post, while the “For you” label was renamed “Latest” and merged with Messages. The sidebar button appears on the left side of the top, and the built-in search bar has been removed.

In this adjustment, some of the common options have been moved to the bottom tab, and some of the options have been integrated into the account selector, including Your Aspill, Location sharing, Off Mapsline, And Help and Settings.
