Apple plans to open a new Apple Store at Toronto’s Fairview Mall, which will reach 10,287 square feet, nearly double the size of its previous store, according to a recently updated floor plan, according tomedia. Apple has yet to announce a grand opening date for the new store, which will be located directly next to the existing store on the second floor of the mall.
The floor plan indicates that the new store is “coming soon”. Existing stores, which had opened in September 2008, should be closed after the replacement store opened.
In addition to expanding, the new store should also feature Apple’s modern retail designs, such as Forum and Video Wall for the “Today at Apple” event, large glass doors and wooden shelves along the wall as accessories.
A few days ago, Apple opened a new Apple Store at Toronto’s Eaton Center. Since 2015, Apple has been modernizing its chain of more than 500 retail stores.
