Searching for flights is a time-consuming process, with people often searching various websites for the same information to find their favorite price, media reported. To simplify this process, Microsoft today announced a new ticket booking experience on Bing. Now, Bing has partnered with several flight booking sites to help consumers make decisions about flight searches in one place.
According to Microsoft, Bing ensures a seamless user experience by leveraging real-time data from the world’s leading global distribution systems and by directintegration with top airlines, completing everything from search, flight comparison to booking in one place.
For example, if you search for “flights from Seattle to Portland,” users will see a list of flight options and prices. When clicking on one of the flight options, Bing gives a deep search page with filtering options that allow users to quickly narrow their options and ultimately lock down their options based on the number of stops, airline, departure and arrival times and price.
