Amazon recently partnered with Disney to launch the new Mickey Mouse version of the Echo Wall Clock. As we are familiar with the Mickey Mouse watch, Mickey’s two arms represent the hour and minute hand, respectively, and rotate around the face to indicate the time. The Mickey Mouse version of the Echo Wall Clock and the standard version of the Echo wall clock are not functionally different, but the introduction of The Mickey Mouse styling enhances the aesthetic.
As with the standard version, you need compatible Echo devices such as the standard Echo, Echo Show or Echo Spot to use the Mickey Mouse version. The clock itself doesn’t have Alexa, which means you can’t shout commands and queries on the wall clock and talk to you, but it’s equipped with ANLED light circle that allows Alexa to track the timer you set.
The Mickey Mouse version of the Echo Wall Clock is on sale for $49.99, compared with $29.99 for the standard version, a $20 premium.
