On December 10, 2019, at 0:00, nintendo Switch’s national edition was officially launched on platforms such as JD.com, Tmall, Suning, pre-installed the “New Super-Mario Brothers U Deluxe Edition” experience version, and standard with a 39W USB PD fast charge charger, the official recommended retail price of 2099 yuan. Meanwhile, the original Charger of the Nintendo Switch has been sold simultaneously, selling for 199 yuan.

First, the national version of Switch original charger HAC-002 (CHN) appearance
The original Nintendo Switch original charger has a hook-up design, a picture of the charger’s appearance on the front, and a brand logo of the product in the upper left corner;
The back of the box is the relevant parameters of the product and the manufacturer’s information.
The side uses a scene diagram for the charger and can power the Switch host directly.
On the other side is a scene diagram of the charger powering the base.
The top of the box is affixed with the tencent Tencent seal.
Because it is a separate purchase of the charger, so the box in addition to the charger, but also equipped with instructionmanuals, repair cards and other accessories.
The charger body has a black square-shaped appearance that matches the previous version, with Nintendo’s brand logo printed on the top. The charging cable is designed in an all-in-one way with the charger host and uses bend-resistant treatment at the connection.
The AC output is a fixed national standard two-pin plug.

The charger comes with a USB-C charging cable that is about 1.5m long.

Using The PDO message of the Charger’s POWER-Z KT001 detection, the USB PD 2.0 protocol is displayed, showing that there are only two voltage brackets of 5V/1.5A and 15V/2.6A.
In terms of compatibility, in addition to the USB PD 2.0 fast charge protocol, this charger only supports the USB DCP protocol, not compatible with the market common fast charge protocol.

Open the case of the charger and remove the internal PCBA module.

The front of the PCB board is mainly plug-in components, there are two use of metal heat sinks, respectively, corresponding to the primary switch MOS tube and secondary synchronous rectifier MOS tube two power devices. The components are processed with glue to secure the components and enhance thermal performance.

Summary of Charging Head Teardown
The original Nintendo Switch fast charge charger in appearance and the previous disassembled version is not much different, only the model changes, still support USB PD fast charging protocol, the maximum output power of 39W, with its own cable design, to charge the device very convenient.
The charger is contracted by Delta, the primary PWM controller and protocol chip are all used by Taida’s own chip; Taking into account the heat of long-term full load work, the charger primary switch tube heat sink on the temperature protection elements, overheating automatically disconnected, to avoid the charger due to high temperature hazards, belongto in the first-class large factory work.
