Edge Canary New Edition: Allows Users to Share Pages with QR Code

Microsoft is trying to deliver new features to the Chromium-based Edge browser ahead of its official launch in January. In the latest release update, Microsoft allows Edge users to share pages with custom QR QR codes. Currently, the feature is only available to Canary channel users, but should be available to all users in the official version.

The feature was first discovered by Reddit users, some Canary channel users have been enabled by default, and other users can use the edge/sflags page, search for the Enable feature page via QR Code. Once enabled, the QR QR code option can be added to the address bar, but this feature is not currently working during external media testing.
