It is understood that the global annual consumption of antibiotics, a total of 90% of the use of food-borne animals, resulting in bacterial resistance and drug residues and other problems are increasingly prominent.
The World Health Organization predicts that the problem of drug-resistant bacteria could cause 24 million people to suffer extreme illnesses by 2030, and a British study suggests that superbugs will kill about 10 million people a year by 2050, more than cancer each year, if the trend of bacterial resistance is not effectively curbed.
At present, China has formulated the National Action Plan for The Control of Bacterial Resistance (2016-2020) to improve the scientific application of antimicrobial drugs management level, to curb the development and spread of bacterial resistance. A total ban on the addition of antibiotics in feed will provide people with high-quality seat belt green food.
