The RX 5700, RX 5500 series are available, will the RX 5600 series be far away? We’ve heard before that AMD is going to launch a performance-grade RX 5600 XT, and now it’s confirmed by Igor’s Lab, a German hardware media, with both the release date and specifications. The RX 5700 and RX 5500 feature the Navi 10, Nvai 14 core with 7nm process RDNA architecture, and the RX 5600 XT will not have a new core, but a further streamlined version of the Navi 10, with one of the four ACE asynchronous computing engines, i.e. the RX 5700 XT specification cut Go a quarter.
On the memory side, the RX 5600 XT will be reduced to 192-bit width and has a capacity of 6/8GB GDDR6 versions, after all, the lower RX 5500 XT already has 8GB.
Thus, the RX 5600 XT will be tasked with replacing the RX Vega 56, and the competition should be the GTX 1660 Ti and even the expected proximity to the RTX 2060.
The RX 5600 XT will be released in the third week of January 2020, which is between 13-17.
