Motorola plans to launch its collapsible RAZR next month, but the new leaked images give us an earlier idea of the phone. Leaked god Evan Blass (evleaks) shared an image of the collapsible RAZR on his Twitter account today that looks a lot like the 2004 classic RAZR V3, but Motorola has designed a new hinge for the model.
Although the image doesn’t reveal much information, we can see that there seems to be a button at the bottom of the device, like a fingerprint reader, or a home button, or a switch button to control the flip display.
Previous leaks and patent applications indicate that the new RAZR will have a vertically folded and flipped display. A Wall Street Journal report earlier this year suggested the device could cost as much as $1,500. Motorola is expected to announce the device on November 13.
The return of the RAZR foldable phone is often compared to HMD’s revival plan, and Motorola’s efforts are clearly more modern and we’ll see if this particular folding display can go all the way.
