Alvin Tse, Global Head of Pocophone, has just revealed on Twitter that the brand will launch a new smartphone in 2020. Although the name POCO F2 is not mentioned directly, we suspect it will soon meet with consumers. Earlier, user Mritunjoy said on Twitter: “Your company is confusing consumers, what is the plan for the future POCO brand?”

Alvin Tse replies, “You’ll hear more about POCO in 2020.”
Rumor has it that POCO F2 will be based on the Red Rice K20 series, including the popular selfie camera and rear three-camera design, the Full Screen without Liuhai, and qualcomm SnapDragon 845 SoC.
However, from the POCO F1 product positioning, subsequent models should also use the newer SnapDragon 855 Plus chipset, supplemented by a USB Type-C fast charge port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The POCO F1 started at Rs 20999 (2068 RMB) in the Indian market that year, making it stand out from the crowd of SnapDragon 845 SoC models.
THE POCO F1 also has a 6.18-inch Liu Hai screen, front 20MP, rear 12 MP plus 5MP dual camera combination, battery capacity of 4000 mAh (supporting QC 3.0 fast charging), pre-installed based on Android 8 Oreo custom MUUI 9.
POCO F2 is expected to continue on the flagship price-performance route, i.e. around Rs 20,000 to Rs 22,000 (1969-RMB 2166).
