The incident occurred on November 6 this year, when carol Doty made a mistake in paying her monthly phone bill, paying only $57.84 (about 405 yuan), but she paid $5,784 (about 40,552 yuan).

Then, in an effort to recover the refund, Carol fought hard, including making customer service calls, emailing and faxing to AT?amp;T, visiting offline offices, and even contacting local television stations to put pressure on AT?amp;T.

After the station stepped in, it finally received an update disreply on December 5th from AT?amp;T, which said it had partnered with third-party vendors to refund the money as soon as possible, though there was no specific time point.

It’s clear that Carol is blown up, and she’s filed a lawsuit asking AT?amp;T to refund her money.
