Ferrari: Only our SUVs in the world don’t call them SUVs

According tomedia reports recently, Ferrari’s first SUV, the Purosangue, will be on the market in 2021, but Ferrari officials are reluctant to link the word Ferrari to the SUV. As a result, the car will be marketed as a FUV (named after the “Ferrari utility vehicle”). Purosangue is known to be Italian, Chinese to be a thoroughbred horse.

The new car is based on the new front-engine GT platform, with an engine layout at the rear of the front axle, a coup suv-style body and a five-door design. In addition, the platform is compatible with V6, V8 and V12 engines.

According to the plan, Purosangue will offer fuel and hybrid versions. But Ferrari’s engineers don’t want to combine the V12 engine with the battery, which will increase the weight of the body. As a result, the hybrid models will feature smaller engines and electric motors, which are expected to exceed the 650 horsepower of the Lamborghini Urus.

In addition to Purosangue, Ferrari is also developing a supercar that will perform better in terms of lightweight, handling and aerodynamics than the SF90, Ferrari’s first plug-in hybrid, michael, and aerodynamics, Michael Lieters, Ferrari’s chief technology officer, said in an interview.

The new car is expected to be unveiled next year and will be on the market in 2021.
