NVIDIA: RTX 2080 performs better than GPU for next-generation hosts

At the 2019 NVIDia GPU Technology Conference (GTC), NVIDIA CEO Renxun Huang said their RTX 2080 graphics card is more powerful than the GPU on next-generation hosts. The following image, on the NVIDIA slide, RTX 2080 is compared to next-generation consoles, and since there is no mention of which next-generation console is, there is no guess that it is either the PS5 or the next-generation Xbox Series X.

But it’s unlikely that Microsoft has yet to announce a low-edition next-generation Xbox (codenamed Lockheart, which is said to be performing better than the PS4 Pro).

The RTX 2080 has been on sale for a year and a half, and next-generation consoles will not be available until at least a year later, and NVIDIA will launch the RTX 3080 or even 3080Ti before the new console is released.

It has been rumored that the next generation OfPUs GPU performance target is 12TF, equipped with 16GB of GDDR6 memory, of which 13GB is memory and 3GB is system memory.
