Samsung is one of the leading technology companies active in promoting collapsible devices, and although the South Korean manufacturer has not had much success with the Galaxy Fold, it is still betting heavily on foldable technology. The South Korean manufacturer plans to launch the next generation of Galaxy Fold, the Galaxy Fold2.
According to various sources, the Galaxy Fold 2 doesn’t look like the original Galaxy Fold. Rumor has it that the second-generation Galaxy Fold has a flip-flop design, which makes the Fold 2 more like Motorola’s RAZR than the Galaxy Fold. Another important change is the display coverage material. According to the famous leaker Ice Universal, The Fold 2 will abandon the old plastic screen cover in favor of ultra-thin protective glass. This will make the screen look smoother. Another benefit of use is that it will reduce the production of screen wrinkles.
The back of the Galaxy Fold 2 will have a dual camera setting. There is a small notification display on the back of the device that provides the user with the information they need when the device is collapsed. When the device is turned on, there will be a punch-free front camera to meet the selfie needs. The Galaxy Fold 2 will have a USB-C port and no 3.5mm headphone jack. Rumor has it that the Galaxy Fold 2 will support the Samsung S Pen stylus.
Samsung is expected to officially launch the Galaxy Fold 2 at Mobile World Congress in 2020.
